Rentroom is searching for Account Executive Interns to support the Rentroom sales process and most importantly learn about software sales. The sales team at Rentroom is in charge of expanding our user base and helping our company grow!
Our mission is to streamline all Property Management related activities from rent collection to property reporting while providing the best tenant experience in the industry.
As an Account Executive Intern on the Rentroom team, you will be part of a start-up sales organization that is dedicated to disrupting the property management process. You will be responsible for prospecting and identifying property owners, landlords, and property management firms and working with the Account Executive team to identify their core pain points and how that aligns to the Rentroom solution . You will be advocating the Rentroom technology across multiple regions and promote the power of our product. Your passion to learn from our team will be critical in your development and our goal is to teach you about the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and everything in between.
*Drive growth by working with your buddy to identify small-to-medium sized property owners and property management firms within a given territory (SMB)
*Prospect new clients by researching markets, leveraging social media, and calling/emailing property owners, landlords, and property management firms
*Manage and develop these prospects within Salesforce
*Develop a thesis for Tier 1 leads and why they would be a good fit for Rentroom
*Shadow live product demonstrations over the phone and via webinar
*Learn and practice cold-calling best practices
*Learn how to use Salesloft our Sales Engagement platform
*Work collaboratively with internal partners to drive sales
*Able to learn and apply new concepts quickly
*Persuasive communication skills, strong problem solving skills
*Independent, self-motivated, competitive.
*Experienced managing leads with an online Client Relationship Management (CRM) system is a plus
*Adept at prospecting and using effective consultative selling principles and practices
*Able to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
*Hunter mentality: Passionate about hunting down market share (cold-calling), and educating the market - not easily intimidated by new relationships
*Able to work effectively in an open-seating environment
